Incredibly Rare 1954 Mercury Monterey Convertible New to our Benicia showroom is this outstanding, fully restored 1954 Mercury Monterey 2 Door Convertible with Siren Red exterior paint and a matching red vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory correct 256 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Holley 4bbl carburetor and the matching automatic transmission. This rare classic comes equipped with factory electric windows, a working original radio and clock, the Continental Kit with an additional spare tire (6 total), original manuals and so much more. The odometer reads a mere 83,009 miles…which the current owner believes could possibly be lifetime mileage. This 1954 Mercury Monterey Roadster is VIN # 54LA14514M. The body specs on the driver’s door columns show that the style is a “BR76B Monterey Convertible” with production numbers “21-477-5A-41”. That translates to being manufactured in Los Angeles, CA on January 5th, 1954 (the 41st off the line that day). The factory correct color is Siren Red with a red/black interior. Very Impressive 1957 MG MGA 1500 Roadster New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1957 MG MGA 1500 2 Door Roadster with red exterior paint and a very nice black vinyl interior. You’ll find an 1800cc four cylinder engine under the hood with a mild cam and a full syncromesh 4-speed manual transmission, and this classic sports car delivers very nice performance at virtually any speed. With an ultra-clean interior and some serious curb appeal, this great driver must be seen in person in order to be truly appreciated. Only 10,000 Miles on Rebuilt 1800cc Motor & Drivetrain The current owner of this 1957 MG MGA 1500 Roadster took possession back in 2006 as the 3 rd lifetime owner and he informs us that he was drawn to this particular example due to its excellent ride quality. The 1800cc engine is from an MGB model and it’s been rebuilt and lightly performance tuned within the last 10,000 miles. Out on the open road, this example has impressive acceleration, smooth handling and very nice cornering, plus an immaculate period-correct engine compartment for taking in local shows. You’ll find a 130 horsepower, 322 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a 3-speed manual transmission, and this gorgeous show-stopper is nicely equipped with the original working radio and vacuum actuated antenna, vacuum windshield wipers, factory heat and more! This breathtaking classic has been driven approximately 5,000 miles since its Concours-level restoration and it is in phenomenal, breathtaking condition throughout. In its final years, the LaSalle once again became more Cadillac-like in its appearance and details. Underwent a Compete Nut & Bolt Restoration in 2012 This 1940 LaSalle 50 Series Sedan originally sold on in California and it’s believed that it has remained on the West Coast the vast majority of its life. The current owner took possession back in 2002 and enjoyed it for years as a high end driver before completely restoring it from the ground up in 2012. During that time, the major mechanicals were disassembled before restoring it to the incredible example seen before you today. Absolutely Phenomenal 1967 Chevy Camaro SS/RS Hardtop New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS 2 Door Hardtop with outstanding Marina Blue exterior paint and a factory black vinyl top and matching deluxe black vinyl interior. The current owner informs us that you’ll find the factory 350 cid V-8 engine under the hood along with a 4-speed manual transmission, Posi traction, factory tilt steering, alloy wheels, air conditioning, a factory radio and so much more. This incredible, beyond-rare survivor is in show-stopping condition as well and it is one of the nicest classics you’ll have the pleasure of viewing this year. A True Survivor Kept True by 4 Lifetime Owners This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS Hardtop was custom ordered from Gateway Chevrolet on February 2 nd 1967 with a 4-speed manual transmission, a radio w/ rear antennae a deluxe heater, front disc brakes, fast steering, GM air injection and front/rear deluxe seatbelts. We have verified that the block stamp on the motor matches the VIN and the current owner tells us that this example is as close to a 100% survivor as you’ll find anywhere in the nation at this time. In fact, he requested for us to not complete any engine detailing so you can see exactly how this amazing muscle car has been maintained throughout its lifetime. It is outstanding in every sense of the word. Additionally, the current owner of this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS350 Hardtop informs us that it has never been restored other than basic maintenance and care throughout its life. We can’t certify these comments to be accurate but after an extensive visual inspection, we simply do not see anything to refute the current owner’s claims. This is one of the most exceptional survivors we’ve seen in any make/model from the late 60’s and it belongs in a highly prestigious collection. Tremendous Performance & All-Around Handling We were also informed that this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS Hardtop has not changed a bit over the past 50+ years other than the addition of air conditioning by the 2 nd or 3 rd lifetime owner. A visual inspection reveals a world-class, laser straight body with excellent trim and a virtually flawless appearance. The exterior paint gleams in the light and we did not notice any obvious imperfections. You’ll also be pleased to know that the factory interior is just as breathtaking with minimal signs of use to the front bucket seats and slight wear in the carpeting. Absolutely everything is here though at incredible unblemished and unrestored levels- you must see it for yourself to believe the levels of quality. Out on the open road, this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS Hardtop still performs like a much newer muscle car with smooth acceleration, tight responsive handling and excellent stopping power. The engine in particular sounds great and it almost defies logic- a survivor of this caliber simply should not exist on the open market in 2019. And trust us, it won’t for long. Rare, Gorgeous 1951 Studebaker 3/4 Ton Pickup New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1951 Studebaker 3/4 Ton 2 Door Long Wheel Base Pickup with green exterior paint and a gorgeous brown/tan vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory correct 170 cid six-cylinder engine under the hood along with the matching three-speed manual transmission, and this amazing rare pickup has been fully restored to border on Concours level quality. It has a mere 3,146 miles on the build and this outstanding classic is in unbelievable condition both inside and out. Complete Frame-Off Restoration to Incredible Levels This 1951 Studebaker Pickup has been enjoyed by five different lifetime owners and it underwent an extensive frame-off restoration in 2015 with plenty of documentation. The current owner informs us that every last aspect of this pickup was meticulously restored down to the last detail, including a rebuild of the factory drivetrain and all the original accessories. The frame was also stripped down to bare metal, smoothed to perfection and restored with all new trim, glass and show quality paint. The interior was also brought to the same standard with the original instrument clusters, steering wheel and more being polished back to absolute perfection. Highly Original w/ Fantastic Body Lines The current owner of this 1936 Ford Model 68 Deluxe Phaeton purchased it all the way back in 1978. He informs us that he has always loved this well-kept classic due to the high originality of the car and the condition it’s been kept in for nearly the past century. As you can see from the photographs, the interior is absolutely immaculate with negligible amounts of wear to the period correct seating, gauges and steering wheel. The carriage-like rear seat is also in excellent condition and provides ample room for a 3 rd and 4 th passenger. Additionally, the exterior is in very nice condition with a nice shine to the paint and very clean body lines, so this stellar example needs very little to be a true standout in any serious collection. In terms of performance, this 1936 Ford Model 68 Deluxe Phaeton Sedan starts easily and has nice acceleration along the highway. A closer inspection shows that many parts and accessories on this desirable classic appear to be period correct, although we cannot certify what may or may not be original on this 80+ year old classic. As we mentioned earlier, this one really needs to be seen in person and test driven to truly appreciate- these types of highly original classics simply do not surface very often.
